We love our vintage wooly Putz German sheep.
We bought this from an elderly woman who had over a 100 of these and was from Germany.
Here is a small sized wooly sheep with matchstick legs probably made in the 1930s in Germany. These were made as toys.
Features: cream matted coat, face includes black painted eyes- one is very faint, a red nose-paint in areas missing, black hooves-worn, red collar is intact, stands, long straight tail
Measurements: 2 x 2 inches
Condition: Good. The coat is cream colored and matted, the red ribbon is intact, it stands, 3 legs are stable, back left is slightly loose and in tact, ONE PAINTED EYE IS MISSING, red nose- PAINT IS MISSING IN AREAS, BLACK HOOVES WORN. THIS WAS OBVIOUSLY PLAYED WITH AS A TOY
