We love our vintage wooly Putz German sheep.
We bought this from an elderly woman who had over a 100 of these and was from Germany.
Here is a small sized wooly sheep with matchstick legs made in the 1900s in Germany. These were made as toys.

Features: cream matted coat, face includes black painted eyes, a red nose-paint in areas missing, rough face in areas, ear tip missing, legs and black hooves-worn and paint missing, beige collar is intact, stands, long straight frayed tail
Measurements: 2 1/4 x 2 inches
Condition: Good. The coat is cream colored and matted, the ribbon is intact, it stands, all legs are stable and in tact, areas of face are rough, ear tip missing, red nose- PAINT IS MISSING IN AREAS, LEGS AND BLACK HOOVES WORN. THIS WAS OBVIOUSLY PLAYED WITH AS A TOY
