Vintage Christmas Tree Tinsel was made by a lot of companies and in a wide variety of styles and awesome graphic boxes in the 1950s and 1960s. We use these boxes for decorating and staging.
Tinsel holds a special place for us. My dad loved the real lead tinsel and would lay strand by strand on our real Frasier Trees and then remove each strand and save for the next year. He had the same tinsel for decades.
Here is a box of Lustre Brite Tinsel made b George Franke company.
Features: Great graphics of a wreath, candles, holiday colors of red and green, the cut outs of the tree highlight the tinsel.
The package has a logo on the front bottom Made by the George Franke Company.
Condition: Very Good. The tinsel has been used. The box has some wear. The top part is dented in but stands and each end opens. All box tabs in tact. The window is in tact.
Measurements: approximately 10 inches x 6 1/4 inches
